Our courses are priced at £70.00 for a ten week course
Our toddler classes are designed to be an introduction to our mainstream independent lessons. They can be used as an introductory class for less confident 3 year-olds or a transition class for 2 and a half year-olds coming from parent and baby classes. The classes are structured but with lots of fun & games and singing to stop it being too intensive for our little ones. The classes are restricted to 4 per class as they are very young. These are run on Saturday mornings. Very limited spaces.
Our parent and baby classes are a great introduction to the water for you and your little one. With the help of some nursery rhymes your baby learns valuable skills and water confidence in a fun and safe environment. Experts at Swim England and paediatricians would usually recommend that a baby starts swimming lessons at around six months old, but you can always start to get them prepared before they go to the pool. You can use the bath to get them used to the feeling of being immersed in water. For details on the benefits of baby swimming please visit the ASA website here.
We take babies from 6 months to 3 years at which point they are ready to join our regular weekly classes. The classes are for 30 minutes and are split into three age groups: 6 months - 16 months, 16 - 26 months & 26 months - 3 years. The classes are run on Wednesday mornings at Beacon Hill Academy (11am - 12.30pm) and Saturday mornings (9.00am - 12.00pm) at the Engayne Primary School in Upminster. All pools follow Swim England guidelines that recommend pool temperatures of 30 - 32 degrees for our littlest swimmers.
1 adult must be present in the lessons with baby at all times and babies MUST wear swim nappies.
Mummies & daddies are both more than welcome to get in the water (one adult per session).
We have space for ONE spectator for every baby.
